About Beth Worthington
Principal and Owner, Interior Designer
Connecting human experience to our surroundings is essential to place-making . . .
and it's at the core of each of Beth Worthington's interior designs.
With an educational background in Cultural Anthropology and Environmental Design,
combined with her experience at architectural firms, Beth offers a unique understanding of people and places.
After working in architectural firms for 14 years, Beth also understands the critical relationship between a building's architecture and its interior design. While at Christner, Inc., a large St. Louis architectural firm, Beth designed a broad range of projects, demonstrating not only her diversity, but her adaptability to each client's needs as well.
In 2004, Beth opened Worthington Design, where she continues to expand her diverse portfolio with new clients as well as further develop relationships with past clients. She has developed particular strength in interior master planning, assuring not only that interiors appeal to the eye, but that they offer a distinctive "sense of place" interwoven with a timeless aesthetic.
Beth approaches each project with a fresh perspective. She has extensive knowledge of finishes, lighting and furniture. Artwork selection is also an important aspect of her work. Beth taught Environmental Design at the University of Missouri and served as Facilities Coordinator (for housing and dining facilities) at Texas Tech University and as Facilities Consultant at the University of Tennessee.
Specializing in interior design for multi-family housing, restaurants, educational facilities and health care spaces, place-making is what Beth Worthington does best.
